The Rest of July

 We spent the 4th of July unpacking, doing laundry, sorting mail & email, and then meeting some friends to shoot off some fireworks.

The Tour de France was watched, and so was more World Cup.

Kieran picked back up with pet sitting, and working at our vet, and Kevin and I headed to Anderson with Keenan for his orientation.

His roommate was at the same orientation, so they got to hang out some, then he got his fall class schedule.

No Friday classes.

Enjoy it this semester, since it will probably never happen again.

More World Cup was watched,

and Keenan picked up a new toy for the pups while he was out Dashing.

Both the dogs were thrilled.

Seriously hilarious to watch them drag this stuffed highland cow around the house.

Kieran began helping coach the cross country team at school, then started new faculty training.

I did some experimenting baking with black tea.  

We seem to have quite a bit & it's the one type of tea none of us really enjoy drinking.

This was an Earl Grey Tres Leches & absolutely delicious.

And an English Breakfast Panna Cotta was even better.

The pups thoroughly enjoyed having everyone home and were in denial about changes coming in August.
