Sioux Falls

 After a relaxing morning in the drizzle at our hotel in Fargo, we repacked the car and headed south.  And after a pit stop for lunch and buying some homemade kuchen and bison jerky, we arrived a little farther south at Palisades State Park.

The sun was out and the weather was much warmer when we got out to explore.

Beautiful sioux quartz rock formations jut up & out over the river.

We enjoyed exploring the trails & views over the river, listening to birds, & watching some fly fisherman.

Best part was zipping over to our next destination for the night-a mere twenty minutes away.

Dinner at a local grill, catching up on laundry, and enjoying kuchen while watching World Cup made for a great evening.
