Thankful

Last Tuesday we were treated to the kindergarten Thanksgiving program at school.

Our little kiddo had a short speaking part & delivered it with gusto.

 Then on Wednesday, we packed up the car for a trip up north to the Buckeye State.
We left the cold rain & wind behind & instead saw a bit of this:

 Thursday we did the Thanksgiving double header & it was a treat.  Saw relatives on both sides and it was wonderful to catch up again.  Very thankful it all worked out to see so many people.

Friday was the can't be missed lunch at Schmidt's.

 Followed by some enjoyment of the overly chlorinated hotel pool before heading out to the giant pizza party.  (It is an EVENT--not to be missed!)  Great to hang out with family again & see some others that we missed on Thursday.

 Then Saturday we packed up & hit the road.

 Some hit it harder than others:
