A Cleaning

Monday Kieran had a dental check up.  

Of course, the boys have talked about who would win their ongoing bet non-stop for the past week.

Keenan was excited about cleaning Kieran's teeth if Kieran lost the bet.

Kieran talked a big game about how well he's been cleaning his teeth.

And the moment of truth arrived.

And Mrs. Carla announced that Kieran had one of the best check up's & most improvement in a long time.

Then, in a surprising turn of events, Kieran said that Keenan could go ahead & polish his teeth ONLY if he could polish Keenan's at his upcoming appointment. (That's Kieran--thinking ahead.)

Of course Keenan agreed & will probably have to be reminded of his end of the agreement later.

So here they are again, both looking very relaxed:

And now he is polishing the patient's teeth.  His technique has improved quite a bit & he takes his work very seriously.
Now that Kieran aced his visit, he's taking his gold star very seriously.  Brushing, flossing two and sometimes three times a day!  All without any prompting from me!
