Five points

It all begain last year at Christmas....Each night we would read a short devotion to accompany our Advent Jesse Tree. Kieran was selected as our reader since he was eager to use his reading skills. The devotion each night would end with two or three simple questions about the passage. Somewhere along the way Kieran began awarding points based on the number of correct answers....I always lost. Fed Keenan my answers if he didn't know. And just like that....claiming points was born.

It goes something like this:

randomly driving with the boys in town...one will shout "oh, my favorite Jeep! Yeah, I've got 5 points." Or, as Kevin comes home from work "DaddyhowwasyourdayyeahI'vegot5points!"

It surfaces while we listen to the radio...."Toby, I've got 5 points" or "Newsboys" or "Chris Tomlin I've got 5 points."

Just about any situation you can think of & we've had a points competition for it. The other day I even heard Keenan (in the bathroom doing some business if you know what I mean) say to himself "Dropped a gas bomb, yeah I've got 5 points."

Want to join in & play the game? Feel free. It seems to be on-going with no end in sight!

Hahaha. We go straight for the "win". Garrison started it a while back. "Dump truck, I win!" "Punch buggy, I win!" "No, you not win, I win!"
