Saturday we had Kieran's birthday party. We had family & a few close friends meet us at the Wildlife Education Center in BurMil Park. It was great! A fantastic guide showed the kids all around the Center and they got to pet a lot of the animals (and reptiles) they have. Then he led us all on a nature walk. For our budding zoologist & nature lover--it was perfect!
Here are some highlights.....

The start of our nature hike. Some turtles & a heron were the extent of our wildlife viewing. The kids had a blast though. Even Keenan walked almost the whole way.
And now for some cake!It was one awesome cake. Made by a wonderful (and very talented) friend of mine. She's made the cakes for the boys the past few birthdays & took it in stride with this year's request. Kieran wanted a "white cake with cream cheese icing and a ninja."
