Sneaking & a slideshow

Let me just say that we have ground rules on screen time for the boys.
It is earned.  A privilege--not a right.
The computer stays in the kitchen where we can see it while they are on it.
You cannot surf the net.
Those are the basics.

This morning when I got up, Keenan was not downstairs.
Most unusual since he is the early bird & always first up.
I headed upstairs to wake both boys up & found Keenan fast asleep under his covers.
With the computer under his head.

He had snuck downstairs in the wee early hours (somehow did not wake up the dogs which is unheard of),  picked up the computer, took it back to his room, & after playing on it a while, fell back asleep.  He said he only looked at pictures & google earth (and yes, we checked the browsing history).

Nothing like starting your day frustrated, upset, & disappointed.  It was even more frustrating since just last week Keenan swiped my phone early one morning, & attempted to face time several people....   yes he cracked the password....

So later this afternoon I sit down at the computer & pull up photos to find a picture.

And I notice a project that has been saved.  So I click it & watch, and have my heart melt & ache at the same time.  It's a slide show of our family put together by Keenan this morning, complete with music & graphics.  Much better than I could do.

Oh that child.
