Hail storm

Yesterday, right after the boys & I got home from school, we heard some knocking.

And popping.

A lot of it.

Hail.

Bouncing all over the place.

Started off little smaller than golf ball, then moved to quarter size.

And went on for about 10 minutes.  The last 2 minutes or so brought a crazy downpour and massive wind gusts.

And just when I was about to send the boys & dogs down to the basement, it stopped.

Half an inch of rain in just a couple of short minutes.
Piles of hail.
