Kieran's class has been learning all about the Renaissance.
Science, art, the history, literature, philosophy.
He told me about this a couple of weeks ago & finally brought it home.
They were studying Michelangelo and his painting in the Sistine Chapel.
It's impressive (understatement) that he spent four years working on this.
Laying on his back.
So to give the students a taste for what it was like, Kieran's class taped a piece of paper under their desks and each worked on their own masterpiece....
They were each supposed to paint their version of the moment of creation from the Sistine Chapel.
Pretty cool.
(And in a 4th grader's opinion....it was pretty fun too.)
