A toothy grin

It finally happened.
After much wailing, & fussing.
It lasted a lot longer than the medical professional thought it would.
It hung on so long that it was leaning sideways & had turned grey.
And last night when Kevin reached in to "check" it, it came right out and Keenan was none the wiser.
Until he walked into his bedroom & I asked if the tooth was still in his mouth...
then a look of surprised confusion spread across his face...
then slight panic when he realized it was gone & thought he had swallowed it...
then pure happiness when he realized it was out & didn't hurt.
