Replacement

While we were at the Outer Banks, we visited the Wright Brothers National Memorial (great tribute to some  inventive & smart Ohio boys).  During our RV trip this past summer the boys discovered the Jr. Ranger Programs that are available at all National Parks, Monuments, and Memorials.  So of course they completed the program at the Wright Brothers Memorial to earn another set of badges for their collections.
And what happened once we got back to our beach house??
This:
A certain rascally bassett who fancies herself a goat snuck into our bedroom, stretched her long self out, and quietly pilfered a badge off the dresser.
The dresser being at least three feet tall.
Kieran walked in after we all heard a "crunch" come from the bedroom and we all realized the trouble-maker was M.I.A.
And the bickering & squabbling began over who got the chewed up badge, and who got the other badge.  Thankfully Flospy didn't get a pin down her tummy; she only got in trouble.
So last week, in an attempt to quiet the badge bickering, I emailed the National Park Service at the Wright Brothers Memorial and explained our tale of woe.
And today look what came in the mail:
And that is why this National Park Rangers is the hero of the day!!
Many thanks & hope you all have a wonderful Merry Christmas!
