Open house attended, supplies dropped off, teacher met, desk located, friends spoken to--check.
Back to school feast (menu selected by the student) prepared and consumed--check. (in case you were wondering....we had sloppy joe pizza, steamed broccoli, and a peach/blueberry pie)
Sibling conflict and bickering that has escalated exponentially with approaching school--check.
Backpack located, clothes laid out, lunchbox found--check.
Excitement and hope for what he will learn this year--check.
