I think Kevin and I were both pleasantly surprised with how our boys behaved on vacation. Sure, we had a few meltdowns and some whining & complaining. To be expected. We did a lot of walking. Keenan did some riding on the shoulders, and kept up great (that's right folks--no stroller).
petting sharks and raysThe first day in Boston we headed to the Aquarium. The line stretched along a whole block! Members didn't have to wait in line, so Kevin did some quick math and figured it would cost us $7 extra to become members. Was a great decision since we went back a second day during some rain showers!

All along the main floor is an open area to watch different types of penguins. The boys loved watching the people feed them. This guy was our favorite:


Not sure why these two pictures are out of order....one of the mysteries of blogger. Above we're waiting at the airport, and below--Keenan finally ran out of steam.

Make Way for Ducklings? Then you might recognize this pond in Boston Commons. We walked over there one morning & took a Swan Boat ride. We even noticed some duck eggs on the island that Mr. and Mrs. Mallard call home.
