Start spreading the news...

One down and twelve to go!

Kieran finished up kindergarten last week.

Here he is getting his promotion certificate with his teachers.

They had a fun little ceremony to present the certificates, and all the kindergarten classes sang a few little songs. My favorite was sung to the tune of "New York, New York" by Sinatra.

"Start spreading the news. I'm leaving today. I'm going to be a part of it: First Grade, First Grade!"

After the ceremony it was party time in class.

The kids decorated frames for their class pictures and then had ice cream sundaes.

Kieran with one of his assistant teachers.

And with his teacher (whom he just LOVED).

And the mountain of stuff from his desk, and cubby at school.

Plus Keenan's stuff from preschool.

They both got out for the summer on the same day......

Hello summer.
