Time....

I don't care what the calendar says--February is the longest month of the year.

It doesn't matter that there are only 28 days in the month.

I've never been a big fan of Valentine's day (which is good since mine is always working).

It just always seems like this month drags along......time slows down & memories pop up.

Like three years ago today I sat in a surgeon's office getting the first of two operations to remove a basal cell from my nose. Please wear your sunscreen! So sad, but that was the most time Kevin & I have ever spent together on Valentine's Day....the life of a CPA wife.

It's hard to believe it's been seven years since I talked to my dear friend Rachel. Seven years tomorrow since she's been gone. Seems like ages ago and it seems like it was yesterday....

Now I count the days down until March.

March means more time outside. Each day closer to Kevin's "Saturday off" during tax season. March is planning our post-tax season vacation. Picking flowers from our yard. Hopefully by March we will all be well in this house.....
