Week 9

 Nine weeks of isolation.
All of our normal routines feel like a lifetime ago.
Our governor has finally modified the stay at home order to allow some businesses to open back up but at reduced capacity, and state parks can reopen as well.
All summer plans are up in the air, and all 4th of July events have been cancelled around here as well.
It is crazy and never, ever would have imagined this happening.
I wonder and worry how this will affect how people interact with one another.  Already it has created distance between people, and now with the divide on wearing (or not) wearing masks in public people have become distrustful of others.
Not to mention the anxiety and isolation.
We trudged along through another week of online classes for the boys, and Kevin spent most of his time working from home in the basement.
Last week would have been the conference track meet, and final homeroom breakfast for Keenan.
Instead we did a carpool style pick up for yearbooks one afternoon (not sure which since they all run together).
That was bittersweet.
Friday rolled around and we emailed our photos to our panel of judges.
At least that helps us keep track of days.
Our theme was back to Still Life and had mixed feedback from the judges.
For third place we had a three way tie.

And first place had a three way tie as well.

This week our theme is "Flowers" and it might be our last one.
The New Yorkers are debating leaving their northern compound & returning to the City.
We're hoping our governor begins to reopen more of our state.
