Unexpected

Last week the boys had appointments for hair cuts.

Usually that just means neaten & trim things up.

One child usually is most adamant that he doesn't even need that.

But then on our way to the appointment, that same child threw a curveball & declared he wanted a hair cut.

For real.

And unexpected.

 Then Friday our forecast called for some flurries & bit of snow.
It had been 60 degrees just two days earlier, so no one expected anything to stick....
let alone for it to keep snowing all Friday afternoon...
Friday evening....
and all day Saturday.

 We wound up with 4.5 inches accumulating on the ground.
Again, most unexpected.
Especially for early December in North Carolina.

The boys enjoyed every minute of it.
The dogs were mixed.
One does not like the white stuff to touch his fuzzy Scottie paws, another likes to eat snow then vomit from too much of it, and the other one is afraid of it.
Unexpected but somewhat entertaining.
