Keenan is TEN!!

 What do you do when there are extra meetings & stuff scheduled for your birthday that will make it rather hectic?
You start the celebration a day early of course!
And that's what we did yesterday with Keenan.
We knew today would be a whirlwind of a day (no pun intended Hurricane Irma), so we let the birthday boy pick a restaurant and off we went for a yummy, relaxing dinner.

 And today we celebrated the big guy turning the big ten!

 Doughnuts delivered to class.
Serenaded by his class, and his latin class as well.
A (somewhat hasty) dinner of spinach, crab cakes, & boiled shrimp followed by this yumminess:

 a pb&j cheesecake created completely by Keenan and our favorite bakery owner.
No joke--they discussed it a couple of weeks ago and Mr. G took it and ran with it.
And it is fantastic!!
Wonderful salty peanut buttery cheesecake with raspberry swirled throughout.
