March

Grinding along through March & tax season 2017.
Last week the boys competed in the annual Math Olympics.
They both were chosen, along with a couple other classmates, to represent school at the regional competition.  They were pretty excited, even with the early start it required.
When I picked them up later, one had a sinus headache, one had a cut to the nose from an errant frisbee, and one had a 2nd place ribbon.
Kevin & I have both been trying to bang our some miles each week.
This lovely morning I had a local trail all to myself...and mileage markers (huge bonus since my ability to do basic math seems to go out the window when I'm running.  Clearly the boys did not get their math abilities from me.).
Keenan's class has been working on illuminated manuscripts.  This is his interpretation of a page from The Book of Kells.
And Madness and all things related to it have overtaken our house.
Much pizza has been consumed, hours spent over brackets, watching games, and doing homework while watching games.
And the countdown until tax season ends has begun.
Still feels like it's a ways off though.
