Easter & a Birthday

Last Thursday the boys, Grandpa Ray, & I headed up to Ohio for a quick trip.

Like about 48 hours.

Just enough time to have lunch at our favorite German restaurant with one of my Mom's sisters, an Uncle, a cousin & her daughter....

And Rebecca & Ted.

Then dinner with a few family members on my Dad's side.
All 47 of them.
Thankful for some time to visit & check in with so many people.  We are blessed to have family that sticks together....even though we've always been the ones far away.
Very thankful my kiddos love playing with so many of my cousins kiddos too.
Then after a few days of crazy travel & socializing, plus Easter..... exhaustion hit:

 Good thing we've been on Spring Break this week & have been keeping it low key.
And today Flopsy is graciously accepting Birthday wishes:

Don't let the sad eyes fool you.  This 7 year old Bassett is just as crazy, and rascally as ever.
She keeps us on our toes for sure & we all wouldn't be the same with out you.
