Snow 2016

 Somehow it is the 24th of January.  What have we been doing the past few weeks?
Re-adjusting to school routines.
Lots of driving (for me).  Usually to school & basketball practices/games.  Kieran is managing the "jv" middle school team, & Keenan is playing rec ball.  Seasons should end in just a couple weeks.
And of course, we're all getting used to tax season again.
Then last week we had a forecast of some crazy winter weather headed our way for the weekend.
And this storm lived up to the hype.
We woke up Friday morning to a few inches of snow, with the promise of more winter weather to come.  So school was canceled & even the tax man decided to work from home.  Good thing since the snow gave way to sleet mid-morning and poured the rest of the day.
Poured.
Add some gusty winds & this is how our patio looked by dinner:

 At least by then, the sleet ended & snow began again.
And continued most of the night, and showered most of Saturday.
The boys had a blast sledding both days.

And this wee-laddie finally decided he had to go do some business outside.  While he was out, he decided the white stuff on the ground was not so bad.  That layer of ice on the top of the snow worked to his advantage for sure.

 And tonight (Sunday), Kevin headed down the road to take some clients to the Panthers game.
The boys & I watched from the comfort of the couch while munching on some of these yummies.

And just heard that no school tomorrow either.
Might need to re-stock at the store tomorrow.
