Last week

Last week was busy.
Monday some of us stayed up to watch a certain national championship football game....
and one of us (that did watch the entire game) was pretty tired on Tuesday.
But oh, so happy!
Congrats Buckeyes!!!
Tuesday evening Rebecca flew into town for a few days.
It was great having her here.
We sorted through some boxes of Mom's, which is always hard, so it was nice to have her company.
It's like picking a scab off a wound that hasn't quite healed yet.
We found quite a few old journals of Mom's & read a couple.
I can only do a little of that at a time.
Realizing that there were quite a few different sides to my Mom that I didn't really know.  Which leaves me with questions....most of those probably won't have answers in her remaining journals....and I'll have to learn to be ok with that.
That will take some time.
Thursday was Mom's birthday so we had a giant, yummy dinner.
She would not have enjoyed the 7.2 lbs of meat we grilled, but she would have enjoyed us all being together.
And she would have enjoyed watching Rebecca & I flip out over having to grill all that meat by ourselves.
Well, mostly Rebecca.
But thankfully Kevin got home early & took over at the grill.
And Friday brought us early release from school, and a goodbye lunch with Becca at Stameys.
Not a bad way to end the week.
