(Public service announcement....yes, today is Keenan's birthday. Yes he shares it with the anniversary of the horrible terrorist attacks of 9/11/01, but he was born in 2007. No it is not sad or awful that he was born on this day. To suggest that it is, especially in front of him, will incur my mama-bear wrath. Thank you.)
Keenan has been counting down the days until his birthday for weeks now.
Occasionally snooping for his presents.
It was no surprise to hear him get up at 6 this morning.
We opened some gifts & had a celebratory doughnut with breakfast, then it was off to school (where he requested doughnuts for his class).
Tonight we are celebrating with our small group and the birthday boy has requested cream cheese pound cake.
We love you and are blessed to be your Mom & Dad.
Seven already?! Sheesh.
