So we had a little snow the other day.
Not much, just over an inch, but enough for school to be canceled & the boys to grab their sled.
And in between their sled runs, they checked out all the animal tracks around the yard.
Pretty scene, but mercy it has been COLD.
It was 5 degrees last night.
FIVE. In the South.
This wee laddie enjoys a quick trip outside, then wants right back in. Little Loch grew up in Florida and had no idea at all what the snow was the other day. He is not a big fan of sub-zero temp's & can't say that I blame him. He needs a hair cut, but I'm glad to have procrastinated. Little laddie would be freezing.
Do not let this little girl fool you.
I'm pretty sure the snow & cold have made her wonky.
Yesterday she knocked over/rifled through a bath trash can, the kitchen trash, and the recycling bin.
Was that enough? Nope.
While Kieran was sitting close by making paper airplanes, she decided to help herself to some cereal. I walked into the kitchen to find her gulping as much as she could with her head stuck in the box.
It was Kevin's favorite.
Then she later head-butted Keenan to pluck his granola bar out of his hands & into her mouth.
Ever been head-butted by a bassett?? It hurts.
Thankfully it is slightly warmer today.
She will be outside quite a bit.
Burn off some of that energy & get rid of the extra fiber she ate yesterday.
