Getting ready

We are getting ready.

For school to begin.

Open  house was last night.  School supplies were dropped off, desks & cubbies located, teachers met, & friends seen.

Tonight was our annual "Back to School Feast" with this as the main event:

Of course that was the before picture.
It simmered away all afternoon.
Also on the menu were potatoes, spinach, lemon soda, and banoffee pie for dessert.
Kieran said he was so stuffed, he couldn't finish his banoffee (unheard of around here).
Now to set some alarms, pack a lunch, & get things ready for the morning.
But tomorrow is just for Kieran.
Keenan has his first day on Thursday.
