It's been a long time coming, but Kieran has finally done it!

We took Kieran's training wheels off his bike last fall. He made a couple of attempts at riding, and then just put it aside. Then this past Wednesday he told me he was going to ride his bicycle again.And he did.
There were a couple minor crashes, some run-ins with the azaleas, and a few fender-benders with his brother on his beloved tricycle, and then....he got it!
In the blink of an eye it seemed.
Bless his stubborn little heart--once he makes up his mind to do something, that is it.
He just has to do it on his time.
He's been practicing the past few days and has been so excited to show his new skills to Kevin.
this is one of my favorite shots.the joy on his face is priceless.
it's a toss up on who was more excited about it.

Love the pics! Looks like it was a geat day, and how cool that you got to capture that great pic of Kieran's achievement! miss you!
I love all the pictures, especially the "crash" and then that huge smile when he rode his bike. Can't wait to see you all.
